I finished the analysis in Pro/Mechanics. There should be some compressive stress in some elements. But, why always the absolute value of the stress is shown. Can I show some negative compressive stress. Thank you very much for help in advance. Also, can I do some dynamic loading on assembly in Pro/Mechanics? Thanks.

If you are using Von Mises then all stresses are always shown positive including compressive. If you want to see compressive stesses as negative change from Von Mises to Minimum Principal stress.

Thanks RocketRonnie,

You are right, I forgot the definition of the Von Mises stress. Thanks.
