Preheat for nitralloy 135. Any reference to what it should be? Some say 60F some say 600F any actual code would be helpful.

To determine preheat requirements for welding, you should calculate the CE (carbon equivalent) for this alloy steel -
Nitralloy 135 is a Cr-Mo alloy steel with moderate hardenability and contains a carbon content of 0.4%, so extreme care must be exercised to avoid hydrogen cracking in the weld heat affected zone. Low hydrogen electrodes are required.
Your preheat requirement for this alloy will be close to 600 deg F using the IIW formula

Its for a welder qualification. Where can I find the PWHT requirements? UCS-56? Is there not a P# for A355 Grade A?

Sorry it's for a stellite overlay, I should have included that.
There is no P-No for this material. The ASTM A 355 is a Standard specification for Steel Bars, Alloys for Nitriding.
What exactly are you doing? You have a low alloy, moderate hardenability steel that can be surface hardened by induction or nitriding, and you want Stellite deposited on the surface??? If you need Stellite hardfacing, I would select a more suitable alloy that has better weldability.

Its for a Hardfacing welder qualification. Filler that will be used MIL-RCoCr-A1. And what a bout PWHT? With no P-no what do I use for a PWHT?

You missed my point above, and did not answer my questions. I would not suggest using Nitralloy with Stellite hardfacing. Instead for the welder qualification, use 3/8" thick, P-No 1 steel as a base metal for the Stellite hardfacing.

Can I qualify the welder to weld a stellite overlay on nitralloy, on P-N0 1 steel? I don't know. This is my first time dealing with this type of thing.
