Hi, I need to get some Nitinol shape-memory springs. In general our specifications are a spring diameter of a couple of millimeters and a wire thickness of a few tenths of a millimeter. Does anyone know people who make Nitinol springs to spec, or have offerings in this range? I have already tried:

Dynalloy
Nitinol Devices and Components
Johnson Matthey
Norman Noble
Robot Store
Titanex

Any leads appreciated. Also, is there a better forum to post this? Thanks,

Will

If you are in the U.S. try Peck Spring in Plainville, CT.

Here is a good source of Nitinol wire. I would give then a call and discuss your requirements with them and they should provide you a lead to someone that can handle your requirements.

The only Nitinol wire approaching your size requirements I've seen is the wire for the small blood vessel stents.
