Hello there,

I am facing to NH3 Systems
I made a lot of research in internet, in the past threads, but I was not able to find an extremely basic issue: I cannot find any reference concerning the systems utilizing NH3.
Are they utilizing a TXV Valve or are they flooded ?

Could anyone kindly suggest me some literature reference to look into ?

are you looking for information on an NH3 boiling fluid chiller? If so, they work just like any freon or propane chiller.

Or are you looking at NH3 absorption chilllers?

I am looking for NH3 boiling chiller.
At the moment absorption is far !

What I'd like to understand is:
if they work as a freon chiller, they can work either in direct expansion - NH3 enters in the evaporator in a mixture gas-liquid and exits superheated - or in a flooded mode -NH3 enters as liquid and then exits at a certain title but not superheated - can't they ?

Yes, that's a standard refrigeration cycle, After expansion or throttling it enters the evaporator where it is heated (boiled) by the cooling load and leaves as superheated gas.
It then enters the compressor and then the condenser to complete the cycle.
Look up refrigeration cycle to get more information.
