NFPA Wet alarm valve and Riser Check Valve

Dear Experts,
I was looking for standard at NFPA about when to use Wet Alarm Valve and Riser Check Valve.
When we need to use Wet Alarm Valve and when we can use Riser Check Valve and we can use none of them.

Riser check valve provide a more compact and economical alternative to an alarm check valve where a “water motor alarm” is not required. Approved water flow switch must be used for local alarm via fire alarm system.
