I'm sure by now you have found the answer to your question but I'll see if I can help in the event you haven't. NFPA 85C was replaced in 1999 with NFPA 8502 which in 2001 was incorporated into NFPA 85. NFPA 85 applies only to Boilers and Heaters (heaters of water and other fluids) with Btu output of 12,500,000 or greater. NFPA 86 applies to Class A and Class B Ovens and Furnaces that heat a process. Now I don't have much information on the units that you produce but I'm guessing they don't meet either of these descriptions.
