NFPA 17.3.1 - edition 2016
This is a question about the protection of Group A plastics for storage above 7.6m. When the building is 14.3 m high to the ceiling and in storage racks up to 11m. In this case it can only be protected by CMDA sprinklers but the distance from the top of the storage to the ceiling is exceeded.
Please tell me how to proceed if there is overlap between the ceiling and the highest level of storage (above 3.1m)?

Regards
Michael

Thanks for the quick help, I was searching for this point for a long time.

You can lower the ceiling over the area where Group A plastics - we commonly employ this method to avoid in-rack automatic sprinklers.
