I have a 200'x200' building with a single slope roof having a 1/2" in 12" pitch.

Low side is 32'-8" to underside of deck.

High side is 41'-0" to underside of deck.

I need to use K22.4 pendant ESFR sprinklers @40 psi which covers us for Cartoned Nonexpanded plastics.

Problem I have is we might have Exposed Nonexpanded plastic and once we hit above 40'-0" in-rack sprinklers are required via the asterisk.

Except for 24'-0" near the high side wall most of the building is below 40'-0" which covers exposed nonexpanded plastic to a max height of 35' and would it be appropriate to tell the owner as long as he keeps the exposed non-expanded plastic commodity 39'-0" from the high end of the building?

We do NOT want to install inrack sprinklers.

Either you tell the customer to keep away storing the commodity below the 41' or just suggest the architect to install something on the roof of 41' to flat it out to 40'.
