As the subject line states I want to check in the new drawing and part I have made. Neither of these are in TC as this is new work. I have gone to TC and click Tools and I see Check-in/Out and towards the bottom of this screen there is Site Check-in/Out.

Bottom line next to zero training well you can tell by my request.

Thank you!

So your parts are in Native NX? All you need to do is go to file --> import assembly into teamcenter. Yes I know it says assembly. But it will work for individual parts and drawings also. It works nice and it is easy to follow.

Thanks for the tip using import assembly into teamcenter. Do I need to do this for the drawing and the part each or doing it once takes them both together?

I have been using Pro-E and Intralink for many years and it works sweet so using Teamcenter is very different and so far not user friendly and yes at one time Pr-E and Intralink were not friendly either. :)

I do believe if you select the drawing the part should come with it. It will also depend on how you set up your drawing. (Hopefully master model approach) You will have to play with this. I always start my designs in teamcenter so I do not have to worry about translating them into teamcenter from native.
