new to Caesar II

what is a recommended resource for Caesar II when starting out. I am debating taking one of the online training courses.

Find a good seasoned pipe Stress Engineer as a mentor is my best advice.

If you've performed flexibility analysis before, and you are experienced, picking up CAESAR II won't take more than a couple of hours. If you're completely new to pipe stress analysis and all associated tentacles, then you should take a course.

I'd recommend the course from PipingDesignOnline.com, or come to one of our week-long seminars in Houston.

Yes, I am completely new to pipe stress analysis, so i am looking into taking the course one PipingDesignOnline.com. I don't think my company wants to send just me to houston, at least not at this time.

Remember learning how to use a Pipe Stress Analysis program does not make you a Pipe Stress Engineer - that takes years of experience and study and working under a suitably qualified mentor.

of course, I can't reasonably expect to be an expert on a subject after taking a few courses. There was an opportunity to start to learn it here, so I am.
