I have a structure I designed in RISA Floor 9.0. When we updated to RISA Floor 10.0 the model still ran and solved fine. Now that we have updated to RISA Floor 11 the model will not run. I get a framing error (2049). It says Framing circuit N1-N4 is completely within N40-N45. Nested framing circuits are not supported. This is a stair tower at the roof so it is a box (concrete walls) within a (steel framed) box on plan, but the deck is adequately supported and the file ran fine before. Any suggestions, Josh Plum? Thanks.

I'd have to see the model to know for sure. But, my guess is that the newer version of the program is detecting an issue that went un-noticed in earlier versions.

Let's say you had a 4 column steel structure 10 ft by 10 in plan. But, the column were there to take gravity load only. Then you drew in shear walls at 11 ft on center. Leaving a 6" gap between the shear walls and the steel beams and columns. This is the type of framing issue that could cause problems with the program in older versions. The solution is usually to add in 6" long "dummy members" that run parallel to the deck to connect the steel framing to the shear walls.

But again, I'm just guessing without having seen the model.
