I have drawn a 3D bracket that I would like to print out and use the print as
a template for making the bracket. The bracket is made up from two
sketches, which I need to print one of each. What I need to print is a simple
wire frame of each sketch, centerlines in the drilled holes would be nice,
with a plain white background.

For some reason I have not been able to get it to print that for me. I have
gotten various "solid" prints with a gradient background, I have tried
exporting it as a PDF and have gotten it to just show the "front" view, which
is one view that I need. However I just need a basic drawing to go off of.

Can you offer any advice?

Thank you

You've modelled the bracket and laid it out full scale in a drawing showing the two views you require and now you cannot print this out?

Is this the problem?

Yes, it is a 3D model that is 3"x7" and I'd like to print it on a simple 8-
1/2"x11" sheet.

Thanks

I've done this before and its easy. Just create a drawing with the views that you need, show axis for the holes and print. I've printed the drawing off on label stock and stuck it to the metal before and it works great!

I think the step he's missing is that he needs to create a
drawing first and that drawing needs to be set to full
scale. Than, add the front & side views and then print.
Oh, and if you want to print 8.5" x 11" full scale, you
need to make sure you create your drawing as 8.5" x 11" (A
size).

Thank you, I was able to get that done!

I am now unsure how to add the dimensions to the 2D drawing I'd like to
print. Have it show hole centerlines and dimensions that were shown in the
3D model

Thanks-

View > Show/Erase > pick axis and dimensions > by "view" select view > select what you want to keep
