New member, new Question: statistic of % for each EPC phase 1

Hi!

Some body know a web-place, or have a PDF or Excelor ..., with the Statistic % of each EPC phase by project´s type, like Eng: 8%, Procure. : 65% Const.: 27%?

I see no one has responded. It will depend on what industry you are working in, I am in the upstream oil & gas business and work extensively with EPC contracts. If that happens to be the niche you need input for, please advise.

Also, need to keep in mind, even within a niche industry, the percentages may vary significantly depending on the location of the project and the complexity of it. Some projects utilize basic technologies and the equipment costs may be lower than another project that uses reach out type technology. Also, local labor markets make a difference as well as many other factors.

But there are some general percentages you can use especially if you are looking at trying to put together a conceptual cost study and show a percentage breakdown of the total costs.

Again, let me know if it is oil & gas related.

I only expect a three numbers (EPC) for some Industries. I was PDVSA (oil and gas) Eng & Projects but I lost my references.

I worked many years in Venezuela on PDVSA projects (and also when it was Corpoven, Maraven and Lagoven).
