Hello everybody,

I just have one question regarding the notesI modified in hol file.

The previous partsI created, the hole feature is looking for the old note. It is not changing unless I edit the note by going into feature.

Thanks in advance.

I experieneced same problem.

The holes maintain the format of the .hol file used when they were created.

1. Create a hole using your new hole file as the standard. You can delete this hole if it is not needed.

2. Select a note from the old hol file and use edit and delete all formating.

3. Select insert and pick the option "inserrt from note". This will apply the new hol format to your old holes.

Or you can just copy and paste new format in old note area.

This is holw I handle the issue right now.

Where are the .hol files located? Are they in \proeWildfire 3.0\text? And is it possible to modify what shows on the tapped hole callout?

The hole file is located at C:\ptc\proe\text\hole. I had to create a .hol file for helicoil inserts. There is a good TPI on the PTC website for hole file creation. The TPI # is: 107248.

I am starting on the same path in creating a new .hol table for helicoils. Please post any helpful hints you gained from your experience.
