I installed a new nozzle (2") in an ASME section VIII vessel and looking for a manufacturer or supplier of through nozzle testing equipment. I don't want to hydro the whole vessel, just the new nozzle and shell weld. I have seen the equipment from different manufacturers in the past but cant locate one now. I believe the equipment has some sort of internal sealing plate/cap with a through nozzle anchor to the outside flange where you can apply/monitor/relieve the test pressure. Any direction or recommendations appreciated.

Googling at 'hydro test nozzle' gives me at least 1 result which seems to be what youre after (Carber). Cant be that difficult, using google

It all depends. To hydrotest a 2" nozzle you need to buy equipment and experience with operating that equipment. Most likely you have to hire the company to test the nozzle for you. As I said, depends. You need full access (like manway) to the inside of the vessel, to carry inside the closing cap or whatever arrangement you need. There is no standard equipment you can buy and use it yourself, it is mostly custom designed for the specific shell, pressure, etc. It could be the case you'd be better off buying a new vessel than hydrotest the modification or better still, hydrotest the whole vessel. Ring Carber as advised and evaluate how feasible is their offer.
Have you checked with your AI, you might not need to hydrotest this small new connection.
