network licenses / access to add-ins

The recent press release about the acquisition of CircuitWorks got me thinking about upgrading one of our licenses to Office Premium. I don't think in my case that CircuitWorks alone is justification enough to upgrade (although it's close), but CircuitWorks plus the other functionality that Premium offers is, if the licensing works the way I think it does.

I seem to remember that the add-ins associated with network licenses float independently of each other - is that true?

We currently have 4 licenses of Office Professional, one of which is a network license. If we convert the 3 standalone licenses to network licenses and upgrade one seat to Premium, would one person be able to use CircuitWorks while someone else uses Routing, for example?

I've got a call in to my VAR but thought I might get a quicker answer here.

You've got it right. In fact that's how I have things set up here. FYI, I think the network licenses are about $500 more than the stand-alone versions.

Anna is correct. CircuitWorks and Routing would be tied to the premium license.

Dan, how are you able to get "premium" add-ins to float separately? If you only have one license of 'Premium', that means only one person at a time can be using it, and its add-ins.

Essentially, the the first person to check out the Premium Add-in gets the Premium license. I guess I may have misspoke, then, eh? We rarely run into an issue, but I guess that's probably because I'm the guy using the Premium license all of the time. Sorry for the confusion on that one, guys.
