I own a NA and a test fixture for leaded components.

I would like to purchase some precision leaded calibrators traceable to NIST standards. Does anyone here know of a company which specializes in these services?

If these calibrators are not available, does anyone here know of a NIST affiliated calibration lab where the lab techs will sell you some specified leaded components tested from NIST calibrated test equipment?

Seeking precision inductors, capacitors, and resistive loads.

Check the manual. The test fixture should have come with its own calibration standards. They will probably be some funny looking things that you never knew what they were for.

Dear Sir;

Thank you for your reply.

I own the calibrator for the kit.

The calibrator is an antique.

Modern calibrators are more accurate.

I would much rather purchase a passive device or devices (LCR) which have been characterized by a calibrated NA. The scattering parameter outputs are convenient.

If you know someone who wants to make some extra change by characterizing some LCRs and sending the devices along with the S parameter outputs with respect to each device, I would be happy to make the purchase.

If anyone know at this forum has access to lab techs who would be willing to make some extra change, please point me to them. Who knows, one may be able to pick up a finder's fee.

Thanks for the reply.

Keep in touch.
