Hi all,

whenever i reach rear TS and add channel to it, it fixes channel over rear TS,
help me to crack this
thanks.

hi luis 0707
thanks for replying
i didnt find anything relevant to my subject in this link dear, iam looking for NEN design in PV elite,
thanks.

Though I dont know about PV lite, it may be doing this because of the low tolerance of TEMA NEN to differential thermal expansion (between tube side DT and shellside DT). Try changing it to TEMA AEU or TEMA BEU. TEMA NEN is much cheaper, but is hardly ever used in shell and tube HX.

Ali Haidar, my use of PVElite is years past, and I did not use it much anyway, so take this for what it is worth: I seem to recall...

That you needed to create the cylinders first and then the tubesheets could be inserted between them. In your case, create the channel / shell / channel and then tubesheets. It may be needed to reference the proper node(s) or station(s) when doing so. Don't remember the terminology exactly :)

I think referring to the documentation / help files should point you in the right direction.

Best of luck,

Mike
