what does NEMA A600/P600 stands for in Contactor rating.

how is this rating used in the case of indicating lights in motor control centres i.e is it applicable for indicating lights.

Suggestion: The indicating lights are essentially resistive loads. Therefore, the contact may be loaded relatively high with the current, the contact make and break VAs will be almost equal to Watts, and some design margin is advisable, e.g. 10 to 15% to account for the manufacturing contact tolerances or inaccuracy.
