Anyone had to do this? Looking to create a macro to seperate a model and its drawing. Right now the model and dwg is in the .prt file

We need to do this to parts and assemblies. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am a avid solidworks user and have done macros in that before.. that is my experience.

Start with this thread (specifically joycejo's response) thread561-248124, it tells how to do it manually. Do a few by hand to get to know the process, then record a journal. If the entire process has journal support in NX5, then you can edit the journal as necessary to generalize it.
