Hi Guys,
I hope this is the correct place to make this post. We have some parts that need a lubricant applied to the edges of a part. Since volume is increasing, applying by hand is tiresome, slow, and inconsistent. For simplicity sake, Imagine a 6" x 6" x .25" plate. One the 6x6" surfaces, let's call them "left" and "right" sides, the bottom 5/8" of an inch need this paste lubricate applied. So a strip ob lubricant needs to be applied to both left and right sides along the bottom.
I'm looking for the right type of applicator for this paste lubricate and also need to design a little device that I can just push the plate through to apply the lubricant. It can either apply on both sides at the same time, or I can feed it though the device twice to get both sides.
Was thinking maybe a buffing wheel or something, but maybe there is a better device that's more durable.
Any links, ideas, thoughts would be helpful. I hope this is the correct sub-forum.
Thanks!!
