We have instruments that are used in a marine environment and have a service temperature of -50°C to +60°C. They are enclosed in parts with a base material of 5052-H34, 5052-H32, or 6061-T6 Aluminum Alloy, or 304 SST.

What's an appropriate specification for the processing of these parts if we want them to have a white matte finish?

Thanks,

Tim

Whilst the temp range would probably indicate the use of a polyurethane type coating (will expand and contract) talk to the experts at AKZO NOBEL, JOTIN, etc, these guys are a couple of the many marine industries coating manufactures.
