Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm in the correct forum, if not please direct me in the right direction.
For the past few years I have been pondering the idea of building my own DAQ system. This is not because I feel that existing DAQ systems are inferior, I simply have not seen anything that will do the things I want.
Generaly, I need to measure aproximately 50 seperate things, e.g. rotational speeds, various tempurture points, atmosphircal conditions. From what little I know I have determined that 45 digital and 5 analog channels will be needed. I would like record at least one hour worth of data from all of the measuring channels. Of course, I would like to down the data via RS-232 or something of the same idea. Additionaly, I will eventually set the system to transfure the on-board data using "Burst Telemetry"
Also, while driving the data will need to be sent to a small CRT dash unit for visual reference and warning perameter settings. I thought I would use LabView products.
The application is for a high speed gear-box 2-stroke engine go-kart.
If there is anyone who direct or guid me through this would be greatly apprecive.
Please except my graditute for just taking the time to reed and response.
Thanks.
