Need Chemical Specs for SAE J2340-340X

There are limited restrictions placed on HSLA steels according to SAE J2340, but that does not mean composition is completely free. The carbon content is limited to 0.13% max, P & S also have maxima specified, and there is a minimum content of Nb, Ti, or V. You can obtain SAE J2340 either directly from SAE or from a licensed distributor like Global Engineering Documents.
