This is a bit off topic, but I need a catalog or web site from a company that makes all kinds of bolt plates, brackets, shafts, studs, etc. You can select from charts in their catalog size of plate, number and placement of holes. They have really fast service and are very inexpensive. We don't have this here where I work now but in the past it was a required book. I only recall that one was dark maroon and the other was either green or tan. It may be something like M & L tool or something like that. I search the net but couldn't find it.

If a reply is posted here I'll catch it.
thanks

Not quite but similar for machine building. It's very similar to Misumi.
thanks

When they broke open molecules, they found they were only stuffed with atoms. But when they broke open atoms, they found them stuffed with explosions...

nope. I got McMaster. We have a daily order with them. This catalog/site has things like a steel plate with 4 holes for example. You can get it with 1 hole, 2 holes or about as many as will fit in it. It can be speced as tapped too. They have small shafts you can spec both ends, studs you name it. Most of this stuff is useful if you are in the machine building line as I am. I should know this but I've just not used it here. We make all this stuff by CNC but we are getting very high powered gigs to cut costs. It very hard to beat the prices from this co. I know we are spending way too much to make this stuff ourselves.

How about Masterline as a guess? Their catalog is maroon. Also, they have a product line similar to the company you described.

If not, any other hints? Location?
