I am looking for a book, in which one finds steps or guidelines to design hydraulic control blocks.

Control block full of spool valves? Read through spool valve manufacturers' literature.

What exactly are you looking for?

I mean not only for one type of valve, actually a steuerblock containng check valves, throttle valve, directional valve etc.

Why do people think that everything and anything can be read about in a book?

There is more to this, like many things in fluid power, that you'll ever find in a book.

You will not find a book guiding you how to design a steuerblock. Each manufacturer has their own designs. The designs are original and unique for the applications. That is the freedom of creating original design rather than the restriction of following prescribed construction.
