Need a good tutorial for Cosmos FEA for Solidworks

I currently am evaluating a copy of Cosmos and am trying to learn to use it so we can implement it at my work. It seems fairly straight forward, but I am having trouble with surface force loading. I cannot figure out how to load just a portion of an objects surface. For instance I want to load just the top half and not the entire top side. If anyone can suggest a book, manual, tutorial, or whatever it would be super appreciated. Thank you.

Any FEM book can help....To solve your problem recognise that pressure loads are applied to an entire element face so to get loading across a portion of a model surface just put loads only on the elements where you want the pressure and do not load the other elements....If that doesn't match the current element definition then redefine the elements so that it does....

Thanks, you are right it was an element definition problem. I found out that my model was far too simplistic. I had no definitions for different portions of the top surface which was all on the same plane. This was an AutoCAD dwg that I had imported as a simple 3d solid to SolidWorks. Someone from another forum introduced me to 'splitlines' which I was unfamiliar with in coming from my AutoCAD background. Intoducing these to my model will help me better define my loading.
