Would like to find "gray market" sources for Maxim parts. Need just a few MAX1776's for a few prototypes that have to be ready for a March 10th show. If a few could be "loaned" until we receive our tape and reel supply in April, or if you know of any places where they can be obtained (Maxim doesn't have any samples), it would be much appreciated hearing from you.

Go to A search there shows up to 350 parts available. May or may not be what you are looking for.
As a point of reference, I know of at least 2 local companies, which manufacture hundreds of millions of dollars worth of electronic products; at either place, designing in a Maxim part is grounds for termination of your employment. Even if you can show that it would take $50 worth of other parts to do the same thing a 29¢ maxim part can do. Take this info for whatever it is worth.
