I have a Normand Electrical Co. Ltd. out of London and Portsmouth DC Shunt motor with serial number A. 130835.K . I can not find the company online that makes this motor. Could some one provide me with a schematic or a possible source to find a schematic for this motor?

Should be four leads coming out of the motor.
Two are the shunt field leads, Two are the armature leads that connected to the brush holder.

From the one's I've seen in the past the Red leads are the shunt leads, the black leads are the armature(brush holder) leads.

See the picture...it might help

Hope this helps

cgris, were you able to find a source for the (NECO) Normand Electric motor? I have a 1 hp that I need to replace. Have they been bought out by someone?

No, I could not find a source of information on the NECO motors.

Gents i require a motor from Normand Electrical, i have found they were part of LSE motors and have been on the phone to them today on 01603628333 (UK). I am awaiting a call back with regards to my query.
