Our inspection contractor has created a small issue for me.
The reports for X-Ray on a few occasions list the wrong code.
We build almost all of our equipment to ASME B31.3. We also shoot at least twice the number of required shots per code.
They have listed their RT procedures for API 1104 two or three times and B31.1 on a couple of others reports
All welds shot were acceptable, but are there any potential legal issues with this?
I've looked through API 1104 and have not found any glaring disparities, but I don't have access to B31.1 (steam isn't that common in gas production and processing.)
