Has anyone out there who uses a 3DConnexion Space Navigator figured out how to program one of it's buttons to bring up the shortcut bar (normally activated by the letter "S")?

I have the lowly two button one and don't use it as much as I would if I didn't have to keep moving my left hand to the keyboard to access either hotkeys or the S key. It would be a natural to have that programmed to a button.

just create a custom function in the 3DConnnexion Control Panel to remap one of the buttons to the S key.

-in the Button Coonfiguration Tab, click the custom function button.
-Click new, give it a name ("Shortcut Bar", etc)
-in the user macro box, just enter s
-click save, then done
-now just choose that function for whichever button you want it on.

Thanks.
I was expecting it to be more complicated when the word macro came into it.

I tried clicking on the "thank you" star link but nothing seems to happen.

Clicking on the 'Thank ...' link should open a pop-up, but it sometimes opens a pop-under, either way, a tab should appear in the Taskbar which can be clicked on to bring it to the front. For me it is taking a long time to pop-up/under today, so you may have to be patient.

I held the Ctrl key while clicking it and it allowed the pop-up. I didn't see any restriction warning when the pop-up didn't go through yesterday.
