I have a downstream user asking me how to find which sub-assembly a match drill operation was performed, without opening each of the intervening levels until the match drill modeling operation is found. In the modeling, we created the match drill as an Assembly Cut, and it happens to exist 3 levels down from the top level assembly.
So far, I've only been able to find the actual assembly cut feature after I've opened the owning part file, and through the Interpart Link Browser. The issue with the Interpart Link Browser is it took me 30 minutes each time to open, when in the top assembly. Is there another method where I can query the models from the top assembly to find the assembly cut? If the Interpart Link Browser is the best option, I have to tell my downstream user to just ask the cognizant designer because it'll be faster.
Running NX 6.0.5.3 in a Teamcenter 8 environment. Thanks!

P.S. This forum has been a great resource in answering many other questions for me.
