Is it acceptable under Sec I to deliver a vessel by the manufacturer without a nameplate attached to it? The nameplate has come separately.

Is it acceptable under Sec I for the assembler to install a vessel by the manufacturer without a nameplate attached to it?

Your first question is clear and the answer is: NO

If you made the required marking on the vessel directly by hard stamping, you may send it seperately :)

One caution though, if you send a duplicate nameplate, it should be marked duplicate and not have your U stamp ( or whatever stamp you have) applied. When we supply duplicate nameplates we 'x' out the area for the Code symbol.
