ORIGINAL VESSEL NAMEPLANT STAMPING INFROMATIONN

IN YEAR OF 1951 ORIGINAL VESSEL NAMEPLANT STAMPING INFROMATION STAMP IS "OCEAN" NO.:

QUESTION WHAT IS "OCEAN" NO.:

I find some online references to Ocean as a brand name, and also "Alpha Ocean". Appears to refer to a British company, and the models I see appear to be boilers for heating homes or maybe just hot-water-heaters. If that's what you're looking at, it may just be Ocean's model number of the time.

I have seen lots of these on Natco (National Tank Company back then) vessels like test separators and glycol contactors that were built in the late 40's to mid 50's. Believe they were all from Tulsa, but maybe a call to Natco in Calgary or Tulsa could confirm their meaning.

Regards,
