I have been told that there is NACE documentation that states up to 100 ppm chlorides for test media is acceptable when hydrotesting stainless steel. I have searched the NACE MR0175 and have had no luck finding this information. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Can't think of a NACE document (MR0175 is most certainly not applicable), but can only recall NORSOK L-004 imposing a chloride limit which is 50 ppm. Will keep looking.

I must be getting bad information. I did find the 50 ppm in Norsok L-004 so thank you for that.
