Hi
Since this time I have seen N2 blanketing in a steel cone roof tank. Is N2 blanketing possible in an aluminium dome installed tank? The tank also has a steel floating roof in it.
Kindly share your ideas.
Thanks in advance.

Not that I've ever seen.

Also if you have a ladder in there you'll kill anyone going into the void.

The floating roof should reduce most of the emmissions.

What exactly are you trying to do here?
Why is the aluminium roof being added??

Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.

High end dome vendors say they can make pressure tight domes... Give them a call...

I was not aware that they made vapor-tight domes, but in looking through Appendix G, I see that is indeed an option; note the pressure limits given there. Also be aware that pressurizing a tank changes its overturning/uplift characteristics, so you'd want to look into the overall stability with that modification.
