Myself and my team are the only people who actively use our local MS Project Server, where all our MPPs are stored. Until a week or two ago, when I wanted to do something like add a column to an MPP or change formatting of bar or do a thousand other formatting type things to a single MPP, it accepted it and remembered it for that specific MPP when it was saved.
In other words, each project had their own unique columns showing in the default Gantt Chart view, and this was remembered.
Then suddenly a week or so ago, any changes made to these things popped up a dialog that said:
--------
"Edits will not be saved.
Any edits made to enterprise global template items are only available during this session. Make edits in the checked-out enterprise global template to make them available to all users of this Project Server."
--------
How socialist. What does every project have to be the same? Can't I override this? Can't I get it back the way it was before?
I do have admin rights to change this on the server, if necessary.
Anyone? Thanks so much.
Greg
