MWFRS Monoslope Free Roof load cases 2

I can't find a description on what Load Case A and Load Case B are for MWFRS Monoslope Free Roof. I have read through Chapter 6 and glanced through the commentary. I asked my mentor and he didn't know either.

The only mention of a Load Case A or B is on a parapet wall in which they describe the direction of wind. Gamma takes care of that in my case.

I can't recall exactly, but I think Load case A is for wind in one direction and Case B is in the perpendicular direction, ASCE has some diagrams showing this

Clud...an older version of ASCE 7 shows something similar and defines it as torsional load cases at 90 to 45 degrees then 45 degrees to 0 degrees off the corner to induce torsion in the structure.

Look at ASCE 7-05 fig 6-18 or 6-19 for the case A and B diagrams. Case A is for wind at 0 deg and B is for wind at 180 deg.

Cases A & B are max. variation in loading due to gusts at different times.
