multiple spark ignition systems

Do multiple-spark CD ignition systems give any more power than conventional coil-and-points systems? Has anyone seen dyno data on this comparison?

Yes and Yes.
Keep in mind that if your ign system is PERFECT then NOTHING you add will improve it but, if it is pretty much standard or substandard, the MSD system is a good start.
