I have an existing model that cotains multiple points in space but it is represented in the tree by a single point. So when I highlight the single, isolated point in the tree all the points are highlighted in the 3d space. How was this done? It's as if all the individual points were "merged" into one point.

it is a point or a cloud?

when you select it in the tree, what does CATIA says at the bottom of the screen?

..or type in the power command "c:Geometric Information", a window will pop up, pick the entity and tell us what it reads in the window

I just had mutliple points in 3D as one 'point' in tree.

This is how i got it: create a sketch with several points, exit the sketch and project it on a plane (uncheck nearest solution), then copy and paste as isolate element. Voila.

What you can do to retrieve all points... use the diasemble function.

Thanks I learned something in V5 today! :)
