Is it possible to set up independant commonspaces for different departments in a company on the same server.
 
I'm not sure why you would want to do that, but I don't think you can. I think the only way to do it is to have seperate servers. May I ask what your objective is? Email me jsmacon@yahoo.com
 
Alternatively, you could create different sub-folders in the same Commonspace Root Folder, and give each department access to their own folder, but deny access to others.

Access permissions can be set for each folder. Just assign the group and specify the privleges.
 
I haven't heard about multiple commonespaces on same server, but u can set access permisions on folders for each user.
