I am trying to create a broken view in Solid Works with multiple breaks. The problem is that after I create the multiple break lines, I can't space out the segments of the view. I can move the break lines, but when I break the view, the break lines show, but with no spacing between them. I have tried this several times to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Tools\Options\Document Properties\Detailing\ Break lines (Bottom Right hand corner) You should see "Gap" Change the gap to a larger number and click "OK".

You must do a Ctrl-Q to get it to update.

Thanks for the help. I had overlooked that setting. Somehow, it still doesn't work well for the first break in the view though. The first break keeps coming out with a wider gap than the rest. Can't seem to mak ethem all match.

I had the same problem and turned it in to SolidWorks approx 1 month ago. I upgraded to SP01.1 yesterday, it's seems to have fixed it.
