Does Pro/E take advantage of multi core processors?


What would run better a 3.0ghz dual core or 2.4ghz quad core, everything else being the same.
 
You are better off with the 3 GHz dual core unless you are running Mechanica. Even with Mechanica you might still be better off with the 3 GHz dual core. The hardware is getting ahead of the software's ability to take advantage of the multiple cores.
