I just bought this MS touch mouse because fry's had a deal ($12.00). Saw that cinnamongirl asked how to use it with middle mouse button. I just figured out a work around and it works pretty good in lieu of the missing middle button.
With the mouse came software and it downloads automatically when installing the driver (kudos to MS). With the software, the user can re-define all the touch function so I defined the two-finger down swipe function to the keyboard letter 'm'. This initiates the 'rotate view' function then left mouse clicks behaves like the middle mouse button. You can rotate away and even pick new rotation origins by doing a LMB up and selecting a new entity to rotate about. To stop the rotate function, just execute the same touch function, which in my case was the 'two finger down' motion. No more two handed motion necessary (so you can continue to eat your french fries with your other hand while working through lunch)!
