How do you take a column in your gantt chart view and place it in your resource usage view in MS Project 2003?

Which column? They don't map 1 to 1.

No I don't think that they match 1 to 1. How would I know? I tried copy and pasting.

It is the column next to the ID column. I inserted it there, then I went to tools, customize, fields, the custom outline codes tab...
