Moving dimensions from view to view... 1

I have created a detail view and wanted to show a few of the dimensions. However, all the dimensions associated with the geometry move from the parent view to the detail view. I then deleted the dimensions from the detail view I did not want shown and tried to generate those dimensions back in the parent view, but all the dimensions from the detail view moved back to the parent view.

How do I get only the dimensions I removed from the parent view to show in the detail view?

Found it... Unchecked "Allow automatic transfer between views" in options.
