Hi guys,
I need URGENT help from you guys on the supplier for a motor test system. I'm actually posting this query from Malaysia and we intent to build a motor test system. The system should be able to soft start the motor with no load!!!
The test is for single phase and three phase motor. It should be able to give me reading for kva, kw, rpm, hz and...
Pls suggest any suppliers you all know. Thanks. I appreciate your help.

Regards,
Engineer

Rob,
Are you design/build yourself? If not, my company (AFC Tool Co.) is an OEM of special machinery and if you want us to quote you this system I'm sure we would be happy too. Visit our web site:

If you need soft starter only that AB SMC-3 family for small motors, and the SMC-flex family for large motors would be a solution.
But if you need load simulation system also, that regulated brake and torquemeter with SW must be added.
Basic principles of such system you may find from Magtrol and Himmelstein wewb-sites.

best regards.
