I am working on design project using Pro/E 2001 where I need to create some motion between 2 components. I am following the instructions given by Dr Zuomin Dong in http://www.me.uvic.ca/~mech410/Tut2001/ProMMotion.pdf. But I am unable to create a joints or drivers as per the instructions. I don

You can do motion several ways, in 2001 (I assume you are using) instead of using the standard Fixed constraints you can drop down and use the connections instead. You can even convert Fixed constraints to connections. W/o more info its hard to tell what you are trying to do.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. While creating joints after I go to connections in the drop down list I am unable to select points to create joints. I don't know where I am doing mistake. Do I need to assign any points or anything so that I can select the points to create a joint?

Try to create the points first and then you would be able to pick them.

By the way, the .PDF file and perhaps the site you mentioned don't exist at the address you gave.

I would be myself interested to see this file.

Would you mind sharing?

Michael
