I would like to know what is the most efficient and effective way to strengthen a weak column in a COMPLETED building without increasing the weight significantly as well as the disruptive work.
I am proposing, using steel hunches around the top where it interfaces with the beams and use FRP wraps along the length of the column. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

Can you use FRP?

When you say its a weak column, what exactly is it short on capacity for, bending or shear or axial capacity or all three or a combination of two? Are the beam/column joints also insufficient?

FRP wraps for example might only address insufficient confinement and not improve shear or bending capacity?
