monitoring gas usage on large cure ovens

Hello,
I looking for an average to mid-range gas meter that can be mounted in line on a burner control to monitor gas useage. We are attempting to make changes to our oven controls and we would like to observe maybe document (record) the before and after effects of our efforts. Our main line preasure is 30 psi and the burners are manufactured by Maxon first is 2.5 million BTU and is 2 pipe with 5 psi of natural gas. The other is a Maxon burner 3.5 million BTU 2 inch pipe. Each of these units are in different location. Please forgive me if this isn't in the correct forum. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

If your consumption is sufficiently high you may also add T&P correction.

For your needs perhaps the MZ quanticometer which is a turbine type and low cost.

Watch about putting. a meters on ovens as the cost of meter and installation will eat up any saving for a year or two. Case in point we had a pyrolysis furnace that had a total burner capacity of 900,000 BTUS'. Accounting insisted that we install a gas meter for charges. The end result was that we could have run the furnace 24/7/365 for over two years for the installed cost of the meter.

Check with your gas supplier they may have a loner or rental unit.
